La prima stampante 3D e' realta' e la vende la catena di negozi di elettronica inglese Maplin e la si puo' trovare ad un prezzo di 700 sterline, 800 euro circa e promette cose rivoluzionarie mai viste prima, cioe' la realizzazione di oggetti tridimensionali direttamente dal vostro computer alla stampante Velleman k8200  la quale a differenza di una comune stampante laser o a getto d'inchiostro stampa appunto oggetti 3D in plastica e le sue cartucce contengono plastica sottilissima che andra' a realizzare le vostre creazioni artistiche o tecnologiche. Quanti di voi non vorrebbero crearsi in proprio le cover per lo smartphone? Quanti di voi non vorrebbero creare opere d'arte e venderle? Beh, con la belga Velleman questo si puo' ma il limite o il rischio potrebbe essere lo scopo finale delle creazioni cioe' se' sono innocue o meno, pensate se una mente diabolica vorrebbe creare una pistola di plastica e funzionante, il tutto gratis e rapido con le stampanti 3d.
